Ray Bradley

I am a lifetime atheist. I’ve only been active in the secular community for a little more than two years.  In that time I have helped start a local chapter of AHA; I’ve petitioned to get the Army to recognize Humanists as an option in our official military records; and I’ve applied, unsuccessfully so far, to the Army Chaplaincy to become a Humanist Distinctive Faith Group Leader or lay leader.

Outside of that, I am a family man and career military with 26 years of service, of which 22 are active duty.  I am a Medical Service Corps officer at the rank of Major and I work for the Army Reserve Command Surgeon’s Office at Fort Bragg, NC.  My main credentials are a passion for learning and a passion for living.
